Why this score
18 May 2023 scores 38/100 for Buy Gold — the Panchang reads as unfavourable for buying gold. On this Thursday, the lunar day is Chaturdashi (Krishna Paksha), the Nakshatra is Ashwini, Yoga is Saubhagya, and Karana is Vishti. Together these elements shape whether tradition would green-light buying gold right now.
Supporting signals: Positive energy alignment (Saubhagya yoga); Favorable day of the week. Friction points: Unfavorable lunar day (Chaturdashi); Challenging lunar phase (Vishti). Rahu Kaal runs 1:30 PM–3:00 PM; most families avoid signing or finalising during that window. Abhijit Muhurat (11:36 AM–12:24 PM) is the most commonly used “safe” slot if you must proceed today.
If you can wait, the next stronger window is 21 May 2023 (score 81/100, Excellent). A common pattern: prepare paperwork on a Neutral/Avoid day, then close on a Good or Excellent date.
