Why this score
20 Apr 2023 scores 23/100 for Buy Gold — the Panchang reads as unfavourable for buying gold. On this Thursday, the lunar day is Purnima (Krishna Paksha), the Nakshatra is Ashwini, Yoga is Vishkambha, and Karana is Naga. Together these elements shape whether tradition would green-light buying gold right now.
Supporting signals: Favorable day of the week. Friction points: Unfavorable lunar day (Purnima); Challenging energy period (Vishkambha yoga). Rahu Kaal runs 1:30 PM–3:00 PM; most families avoid signing or finalising during that window. Abhijit Muhurat (11:36 AM–12:24 PM) is the most commonly used “safe” slot if you must proceed today.
If you can wait, the next stronger window is 22 Apr 2023 (score 76/100, Good). A common pattern: prepare paperwork on a Neutral/Avoid day, then close on a Good or Excellent date.
